{"id":12777,"date":"2021-10-07T10:44:58","date_gmt":"2021-10-07T08:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/?p=12777"},"modified":"2021-10-07T12:17:43","modified_gmt":"2021-10-07T10:17:43","slug":"came-die-casting-achieves-conformance-with-the-iatf-16949-management-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/en\/came-die-casting-achieves-conformance-with-the-iatf-16949-management-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Came Die-casting achieves conformance with the IATF 16949 Management System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the intention of developing a highly customer-oriented management system aimed at continuous improvement by emphasizing defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain, <a href=\"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Lettera-di-Conformita-IATF16949.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 2021 we obtained the Letter of Conformance with the IATF 16949 Management System<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The IATF standard <a href=\"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/it\/i-vantaggi-del-nuovo-stabilimento-came-die-casting-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">requires quality management to include all production and support departments<\/a> . The audit took days and covered all of the processes and departments in Came Die-casting, including but not limited to procurement, customer service, IT, human resources, planning, design and development processes, production, purchasing, quality, logistics, management, sales, environment, and safety.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain conformance, we had to undertake significant work in both documentation and risk analysis, including process<br \/>\nmapping, procedure drafting, operating instructions, records, audits, and field validation.<\/p>\n<p>The following core tools were applied during process development:<br \/>\n\u2013 APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)<br \/>\n\u2013 PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)<br \/>\n\u2013 FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)<br \/>\n\u2013 SPC (Statistical Process Control)<br \/>\n\u2013 MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)<\/p>\n<p>We have exceeded the strict requirements that must be fulfilled to achieve certification, which has allowed us at Came Die-casting to improve our processes and the quality of the products we supply to our customers.<\/p>\n<p>Conformance with the IATF 16949 management system attests to Came&#39;s commitment to provide our customers with the values in which we believe, continual innovation, reliability, flexibility, and teamwork.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the intention of developing a highly customer-oriented management system aimed at continuous improvement by emphasizing defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain, in 2021 we obtained the Letter of Conformance with the IATF 16949 Management System.
