This process involved a <a href=\"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/it\/video-industrialisation-of-the-synchronous-and-asynchronous-stator-webinar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comprehensive review of dimensions<\/a> and component configurations to optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Single-phase windings<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Recently, the introduction of efficiency class IE2 (<a href=\"https:\/\/mycatalogo.ceinorme.it\/cei\/item\/0000015759\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEC 61800-9<\/a>) for single-phase motors followed a similar path. These motors are undergoing significant changes in size and performance, reflecting our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability. The aim is clearly to minimize energy consumption and <a href=\"https:\/\/came-italy.com\/it\/i-vantaggi-nella-produzione-di-motori-senza-lutilizzo-di-terre-rare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maximize operating efficiency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The new IE4 standard<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32019R1781&amp;from=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU Regulation 2019\/1781<\/a>, three-phase motors with powers under 75 kW will have to adhere to efficiency class IE4 in the European market, making the EU the first market to impose this standard for certain motor types.<\/p>\n<p>The IE4 standard will in some cases lead to significant design choices with the introduction of permanent magnet and\/or reluctance rotors in synchronous motors.
