UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification recognises a value that is part of Came’s DNA: equality between men and women in the workplace.
The recognition, awarded in July 2026 after three assessments, came with a very high score that repays years of hard work and investment.
At Came, we see this as a way to look after our people, while bringing the model of a fairer, more modern business to our local area.
A journey that started well before the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification
The UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification didn’t come out of nowhere. It represents a point of arrival – at least for now – in a process that we at Came have been working on for years: making sure that the focus on people isn’t just a good intention, but translates into the actual day-to-day life at the company.
We started by listening. Next, we invested in career development, fairer pay, support for working parents and finding a better work-life balance. All this took time, coherent decisions and participation from everyone involved. Step by step, gender equality has become part of the way we work, make decisions and collaborate.
The way we work: feedback, trust and collaboration
We at Came believe in a leadership that listens, gets people involved, and makes space for diverse experiences. When you work with empathy and cooperation, you make better decisions. With flexibility and trust, people can balance their working and personal lives more easily.
Using this approach, we successfully recognise the skills of all our workers, offering a fairer, more responsible, more innovative business model to the community.
Three assessments and a result to be proud of
The certification body audited Came in three steps: 8 May, 24 July and 29 July 2026. The auditors talked to our staff and examined our business culture, the way we make decisions and manage our staff; opportunities for career growth; the fairness of our pay policies; opportunities for working parents and the work-life balance.
For us at Came, this is the first certification in this area, but the certifying body recognised that we already have a high level of maturity. The high score tells us that the hard work, initiatives and investments made in recent years have made their mark.
The greatest value? People know what it’s about
The interviews revealed an aspect that is particularly important to us at Came: our workers know the initiatives we’ve undertaken, and understand their meaning. This means that our journey isn’t just words on paper – it’s part of the experiences and relationships we build every day.
An initiative is only worthwhile if the people it serves can know, share and experience it. It’s this kind of awareness that makes our result so authentic, and representative of who we are.
A project that involves all of us at Came
This certification is part of a strategic project that involves the entire company. It is guided by a Committee that brings together the General Management with the directors of Human Resources and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. Responsibility for the system is held by the Human Resources director.
The HR and QHSE functions have monitored the certification pathway with attention, skill and consistency, involving all of us at Came along the way. This result comes from two things combined: a clear direction and daily commitment from every member of staff.
This certification speaks of our people, their needs, and the opportunities we want to keep building together, explains Simona Imperatore, Human Resources Manager and Head of the Came Gender Equality Management System.
The result is a recognition of the work done over the years, and of Came’s ability to transform its values into solid decisions for the company and its community, adds Alessandro Zennato, Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental System Manager at Came.
An objective for everyone
All of us at Came helped to achieve this result. Everyone has played their part, through their own hard work and ability to listen to, respect and welcome people from diverse backgrounds.
We at Came are proud of what we’ve achieved, and would like to thank the whole team. From here, we’ll keep moving forward, continuing to invest in our people and our pathway of ethics and responsibility, so that everyone who works with us feels heard, respected and part of the company’s future.
