Coiltech continues to be an opportunity for engagement with the market
It was a pleasure to meet you at our stand and discuss your needs, new projects and applications in detail. For us at Came, Coiltech Pordenone is above all an opportunity to listen to customers, and to directly discuss how the sector is evolving and the technical choices that can affect product development.
At the trade fair, we focused specifically on solutions to make your project more efficient, reducing risks before industrial investment and during industrialisation of BLDC motors, as well as the possibility of entrusting Came with your UL verification.
At the World Magnetic Conference, we explored the choice between copper and aluminium
Coiltech 2026 was also an opportunity to share some of Came’s Research and Development work at the World Magnetic Conference 2026.
Fabrizio Bardelli, Came Research and Development Manager, gave a presentation entitled Aluminium windings: industrial opportunities and process limitations, under the supervision of Gianluca Pegoraro, Came’s technical manager.
Comparing copper and aluminium is not just about material cost: weight, conductivity, size, power density and connections must be assessed for each individual project.
In the presentation, we explored the advantages and limitations of aluminium windings compared to copper ones, sharing useful criteria to understand when this solution can be considered.
